A North Clare man, who has been involved in developing a robot capable of lining GAA pitches, says the technology will be a game changer for clubs in Ireland.
Micheál Nolan from New Quay, who is living in Kilkenny, has been working on the system with Danish firm Intelligent Marking.
The custom-programmed robot has already been used to line seven pitches used for the Renault GAA World Games that’s running until Thursday.

Micheál says while initially it’ll be more aimed at larger organisations, it’s hoped it will be rolled out more widely to GAA clubs around the country down the line.
