Newmarket’s Determination Against The Wind Crucial – Enright

Newmarket-on-Fergus ended a two-year wait for a championship victory by securing their senior hurling status against O’Callaghan’s Mills.

The Blues were 1-17 to 1-12 winners in Sixmilebridge yesterday sending last year’s semi-finalists into the relegation play-offs.

Colin Ryan’s first half goal helped Newmarket get back on level terms after Mike McGrath’s major was instrumental in O’Callaghan’s Mills building a five-point lead.
