Goals from Niall Deasy and Tony Kelly made sure Ballyea were never in danger of exiting the senior hurling championship against Wolfe Tones.
The title holders booked their quarter-final spot in Sixmilebridge yesterday following a 2-24 to 0-14 win.
Tadhg Lynch also contributed five points as Ballyea pushed forward to combat their opponents’ spare defender.
