The Armada Hotel in Spanish Point has been one of the big winners at a prestigious hotels awards scheme.
The hotel, run by John Burke, was named as Supreme Winner at last night’s Gold Medal Awards, an independent awards for the Irish hospitality industry.
The Armada was also honoured for its weddings service, and Front of House work, while Dromoland Castle was another winner in the Guest Experience Category.

It’s Managing Director Mark Nolan also won the Outstanding Service Award.
