Broadford’s season came to a finish in Midleton today as they went down to Cork’s Fr. O’Neill’s in the Munster intermediate hurling semi-final.
They finished 3-22 to 0-14 as the Rebels built a 12-point interval lead thanks to goals from Billy Dunne and Declan Dalton.
Shane Taylor and Diarmuid Moloney were among Broadford’s scorers and they started reducing arrears after the restart.

But 1-2 unanswered on the three-quarter mark including Billy Dunne’s second major meant the Clare side’s year concluded.
