Clare County Council has drawn down only half of its allocation for traveller specific accommodation for 2019.
The Council has been granted €635,000 for traveller accommodation in 2019, but the latest figures from the Department of Housing show it has accessed only €326,000 so far this year.
A total of 14 different Councils have availed of no funding at all, with the total amount drawn down in 2019 nearly €9 million less than had been budgeted for.
