The level of overcrowding has risen at the region’s main hospital once again, as the week begins.
The latest INMO figures show 73 patients were left waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 36 of those in the emergency department alone.
The overall figure is 22 more than the next busiest facility.
