The Irish Blood Transfusion Service is appealing to the people of Clare to come out and give blood ahead of the Christmas period.
Donation clinics are running today and tomorrow, as well as next Monday, in Treacy’s West County Hotel in Ennis.
The guidelines on blood donors recently changed so that those who lived in the UK and couldn’t previously donate are now welcome to.

With this in mind, Midwest Area Manager with the IBTS Aileen Browne is urging everyone to give blood to build up their stocks before the festivities begin.
