Calls have been made in Clare for more localised forecasting, following Storm Elsa.
Emergency services received a number of call outs over downed trees overnight, while a number of homes and business in the Kilkee and Miltown Malbay areas are still without power supply this morning, after the strong winds.
Met Éireann issued a yellow weather alert for Clare, but many people in parts expressed their shock over the strength of the storm on social media.
