Shannon Chamber says upskilling will play a major role in preparing workforces here for the jobs of the future.
The business representative group has for the first time been awarded funding to deliver Skillnet Training Programmes for the next three years, with funding being granted on an annual basis up until now.
Funding is also being provided for upskilling and work placement supports to those seeking employment.
