The President of Limerick Institute Of Technology has assumed office as chair of the Board of the Technological Higher Education Association for the next 12 months.
Vincent Cunnane’s appointment comes just weeks after the official opening of LIT’s Ennis Campus on Binden Street in the county town.
THEA represents all of the ITs in the country and 2020 marks its 50th year in operation.

Professor Cunnane says sustainable funding of the sector will be the primary focus of his chairship, which runs until December 31st this year.
