Clare’s Oscar Traynor side have secured a home quarter final after a win over Limerick Desmond.
Shane Keegan’s men recovered from going a goal down in the first half to win 2-1 on Saturday evening.
A 24th minute corner was slotted in by Desmond, with Clare opening the second half with a retaliatory 46th minute goal courtesy of Kieran Mahony.

That was followed 20 minutes later by a David McCarthy corner which was headed in by Cian O’Dea to give Clare the win.
The result sees Clare progress to the quarter finals of the Oscar Traynor Cup with a home fixture.
