Clare’s Senior Footballers beat Waterford in the McGrath cup second round.
Colm Collins’ side welcomed the Deise to Miltown Malbay yesterday afternoon – and it was the visitors who led the game early on.
Clare eventually fought back with two second half goals helping them to a 3-14 to 3-7 win over Waterford.

The result means nothing, however, as both sides had already been blocked from progressing in the competition as Limerick had beaten both.
