Met Eireann has issued three weather warnings – including two orange alerts – as Storm Brendan makes its way towards Ireland.
The orange warning’s are for wind, and come into effect for County Clare and all counties along the south and west coast from 7am on Monday.
The forecaster says gusts of up to 130 kilometres per hour are expected, and there’s a significant risk of coastal flooding.

A status yellow wind alert for counties in the midlands and east will also come into effect from 7am on Monday.
