Gardaí are warning of treacherous conditions on some roads in the county, following wintry showers overnight.
Emergency services have been called to a road crash in Ennis in the past half hour at the Tulla exit of the M18 motorway, while there are reports of a crash on the Killaloe to Clonlara Road just after Clonlara cross in the past few minutes.
Gardaí say parts of the motorway, sheltered areas and roads in and around housing estates are the worst affected, as well as the road from Corofin to Gort and the Shaughnessy’s Cross to Kilmihil road in west Clare and from Kilrush to Cooraclare.
