An East Clare Fianna Fáil Councillor says it’s important to fill their vacant seat on Clare County Council sooner rather than later.
The party has a vacancy on the local authority following the elevation of former Mayor of Clare Cathal Crowe to Fianna Fáil’s Dáil benches, after being elected as a TD last weekend.
Fianna Fáil will look to select a replacement for Meelick-native Deputy Crowe from the Shannon Municipal District.
