Thirteen new Garda recruits from Clare have officially graduated from Templemore College today.
They’re among 201 nationally who will join ranks with almost 14,500 sworn members of An Garda Síochana, in line with the government’s pledge to increase the overall workforce to 21,000 by 2021.
None of the newest officers to pass out today will be stationed in Clare, while the graduates from this county will take up roles in Limerick, Donegal, Kildare and Cork.
