Clare’s Senior Footballers fell just short of taking at least a draw against Laois in Cusack Park yesterday.
Colm Collins’ side were looking to get their campaign back on track with a win yesterday, after a heavy defeat to Roscommon last time out.
A poor first half saw the Visitors leading 1-8 to 0-4 at half time – but a resurgent Clare performance, including a David Tubridy goal from penalty put the Banner back into contention.

Time was against them though and they took a one point defeat to the O’Moore men.
