Today on Morning Focus, we discussed the Coronavirus in detail following the confirmation of Ireland’s first case of Covid-19, we spoke about how best to protect yourself from it and then asked how it will affect the work place.
Firstly, Dr Kim Roberts, Assistant Professor of Virology, Trinity College Dublin joined us on the line. As we’ve mentioned in our news, a school in Dublin has been shut down for two weeks after a student was diagnosed with covid-19. The male student developed symptoms after returning from a trip to northern Italy, and was confirmed as Ireland’s first case on Saturday. We chatted with Dr Roberts about how Covid-19 spreads and how can you make sure you are best protected from it.
