The Clare ladies footballers entertained Cavan in their National Football League Round 5 game in Doonbeg this afternoon.
James Murrihy’s side were aiming to take their first win of the campaign.
Clare trailed throughout the game – going into the break six points down. The half-time score was Clare 0-05 and Cavan 1-08.

However, in the second half the home side pulled it back a bit, but not enough to beat Cavan
