The Clare Library service is helping people to join their service online, even though libraries are closed due to the coronavirus.
Libraries throughout Ireland have relaxed the joining process, meaning people can join the library on www.clarelibrary.ie and then not have to finalise their applications in person as is usually the case.
Once a person signs up, they will be able to borrow free eBooks and eAudiobooks straight away.
