Gardaí are treating a fire at a house in Ennis overnight as a malicious incident.
Emergency services were dispatched to the home in the Dún na hInse estate on the Lahinch Road at around 10:40pm last night, where a vacant house undergoing refurbishment was found to be alight.
The fire was extinguished and this afternoon, officers are at the scene trying to determine to exact cause of the blaze, which caused extensive damage.
