On today’s show, we discussed the difficult issue of grieving at this time. Ronan Scully, who has family ties to the Spancil Hill area, spoke of the loss of two family members in recent weeks. His cousin, Fr. Tom Scully, a former Offally football manager, died of COVID-19 just weeks after his 14-year-old niece Aoife died in a road traffic accident.
In both cases, the family were unable to hold a typical funeral service, owing to the current guidelines.

We also heard from Rebecca Lloyd of the Irish Hospice Foundation, who gave practical advice, and highlighted resources that they have made available to help those who are grieving.
