Over 530 hours have so far been volunteered by the Clare Civil Defence team as part of efforts to respond to the needs of vulnerable people during this pandemic.
The group has 106 team members around the county, who are delivering meals on wheels, transporting patients to and from clinics, and providing packed lunches to frontline workers locally.
They are also working closely with Clare’s COVID Community Forum to deliver PPE to other organisations.
