The ESB is warning people about the serious consequences of swimming in the ESB reservoir in South-East Clare, during the spell of fine weather.
The utility is warning that uneven ground, deep waters, changing water levels, and fast-flowing waters at Ardnacrusha create a very dangerous environment for swimmers.
The ESB people should instead adhere to the current government guidelines and stay at home.
