The increase of 27 in Clare’s cases brings the total here to 281, while it is the biggest daily increase recorded to date in this county.

However, it must be noted that the county-by-county breakdown figures are two days behind, meaning that figure may not be the current number of diagnoses in Clare.

The HSE is working to identify any contacts the patients may have had to provide them with information and advice to prevent further spread.
