The Minister for Communications has thanked broadcasters, postal workers and telecommunications staff for their working during the COVID crisis.
In a letter, which has also been sent to those working in the waste/recycling and energy sectors, Minister Richard Bruton has praised the workers for providing essential services which allow many people to stay home during this critical time.
To broadcasters, he states that reliable information is now more important than ever, and that trusted advice and updates are being provided to all members of society.

The letter has been sent to Clare FM, to other broadcasters, and workers in the other sectors covered by it.
