The Minister for Business has indicated that hairdressers could open their doors sooner than outlined in the Government’s return to work plan.
They’re due to re-open on the 20th of July, but representatives from the industry have called for the date to be brought forward to June, to help prevent against a boom of black market hair cuts.
Minister Heather Humphreys met with industry representatives last week, who are now putting together protocols for re-opening.
