The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been informed that a total of 16 people with COVID-19 have died.
This brings to 1,561, the number of COVID-19 related deaths here.
The HPSC has been notified of 51 new confirmed cases of the virus, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases in Ireland to 24,251, with no new cases confirmed here in Clare.

The total number of cases in this county is still 315.
The HSE is working to identify any contacts the patients may have had to provide them with information and advice to prevent further spread.
