The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is continuing to fall.
The latest INMO figures show 11 patients were left waiting on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 10 of those in the emergency department.
It’s the second busiest facility in the country, with 4 fewer patients on trolleys than Cork University Hospital.

It comes on a day when 50 patients were left waiting for beds at hospitals across the country.
