People taking to the water this weekend are being warned that both safety and social distancing must remain a top priority.
The call from the Kilrush RNLI comes following a rescue operation earlier this week, after a young girl on an inflatable lilo was swept out to sea.
People are advised to call 999 or 112 if they think somebody is in danger.
