The Dáil has heard a call for the State to open up access to a state of the art treatment that would assist some cancer patients, including a Quin woman.
Maria Meade, who has undergone surgery as part of her treatment, is now cancer free but has been advised to undergo an immunotherapy treatment, pembrolizumab.
