The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital has dropped today.
The latest INMO figures show that 18 patients were left waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 12 of those in the emergency department.
The overall figure is 9 less than the busiest facility, on a day when 133 people are waiting for beds at hospitals across the country.
