No New COVID-19 Cases In Clare For 28 Days

It is now 28 days since Clare last had a confirmed case of COVID-19.

This evening’s release of statistics shows the total number of cases to date in Clare remains at 368, and means it’s four weeks since the last diagnosis here.

The timeframe is the equivalent of back-to-back 14-day quarantine periods, and has previously been indicated as the time in which the Department of Health, and other medical experts, consider a location to be free of coronavirus.

Nationally the Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been informed that a total of 6 people with COVID-19 have died.

It brings to 1743, the total number of COVID-19 Related deaths in Ireland.

The HPSC has been notified of 23 confirmed cases of the virus, bringing the total number of cases in Ireland to 25,565.
