A new report has found that construction has begun on around 600 homes here since the start of last year.
The latest report from GeoDirectory shows that in the last 12 months, 363 residential dwellings were built across Clare, and that there are another 262 residential buildings currently under construction.
The average house price in Clare has risen to just over 193,000 euro, while 6.4% of residential dwellings remain vacant in the county, which is two per cent higher than the national average.

However, CEO of GeoDirectory, Dara Keogh, says that Clare’s figure is actually in a good position.
