The father of a young Shannon girl with cystic fibrosis is calling on the people of Clare not to show complacency when it comes to COVID-19 restrictions.
Kieran McCarthy’s 12-year-old daughter Aoibheann is one of over 1100 people in Ireland diagnosed with the life-limiting condition.
At least 44 new cases have been reported in this county since July 26th, with five new cases confirmed yesterday.

Kieran says people are on alert when cases are confirmed in their locality, but are letting their guard down otherwise.
