Hard Work And Graft Got Newmarket To County Semi Finals Again – McInerney

Newmarket-On-Fergus camogie captain Aimee McInerney says hard work and graft leading up to their match against Kilmaley this past weekend ensured their safe passage to the Clare Senior Camogie Championship semi-finals.

McInerney’s side clocked a 3-12 to 2-10 victory on the weekend, with her side, beaten finalists last year, aiming to go one better this time around.

McInerney says they will keep working hard ahead of the semi finals.

Meanwhile, defending champions Scariff-Ogenelloe are also through to the last four after a 1-16 to 1-10 victory over Truagh Clonlara on Saturday, with Kilmaley taking the third semi final spot despite coming up short at the weekend.

Inagh-Kilnamona make up the last four, with their tie with Group 2 clash with Sixmilebridge postponed this weekend.
