The Clare County Chair of the ICMSA is calling for the swift appointment of a new Agriculture Minister.
It comes following the resignation of Dara Calleary last week in the wake of the Golfgate controversy, the second Agriculture Minister to step down from the role in eight weeks.
Martin McMahon says farmers are extremely worried over the sector’s lack of representation at cabinet level, as well as the loss of a voice in the West of the country.
