Scariff are preparing for their return to the Clare Senior Hurling Championship next year after they became Intermediate champions yesterday.
Mark McKenna’s men edged out Tubber at Cusack Park – Patrick Ryan’s goal proving decisive in a 1-14 to 0-15 victory.
It was Scariff’s first intermediate hurling title in 38 years, while it’s a third final defeat in four years for Tubber.

Meanwhile, O Callaghans Mills are the new Clare Junior A champions after a 4-17 to 0-26 win over Kilmaley.
Banner also comprehensively overcame Meelick to win the Junior B title yesterday.
