One thousand euro in illegal fireworks have been seized by Gardaí in Ennis.
As part of Operation Tombola, Gardaí searched a car at Drumbiggle Drive, shortly before 10 o’clock last night.
A suspect was questioned, but no arrests have yet been made.

Gardaí say they’re following a definite line of enquiry and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Operation Tombola is the force’s Halloween policing operation, which has been brought forward due to the increase in the use of fireworks this year.
