A new contractor is to be appointed to complete building works on the planned new County Library.
Works on the site, adjacent to Glor in Ennis, have largely halted as a result of issues at the initial contractors, L&M Keathing Limited.
Last week, an Examiner was appointed to the company by the High Court and now the Council says it will shortly begin the process of appointing a new contractor.

There is no timeline on when this process will be completed, but the delays will have inevitibly hold up the opening of the new library which had been pegged for late 2021.
