Clare’s Inter-County Camogie Preparations Can Continue

Clare’s GAA sides can continue with their preparations for their All-Ireland Championships in spite of the introduction of Level 5 restrictions.

The exemption announced last night for elite sport means that Sunday’s Munster Hurling Championship opener against Limerick can be held.

It also applies to other inter-county Championships, including the Premier Junior All Ireland Camogie Championship in which the Banner are set to face Wexford this weekend.

Clare are on the road for that one, and joint manager Ann-Marie McGann says they have a number of logistical issues to contend with as they go looking for a win that would book their spot in the All-Ireland semi-final.
