Clare’s County Fire Service is urging people to follow public health advice this Halloween by celebrating at home.
Every year firefighters receive a number of call-outs over this period to bonfires, which are used by some people to illegally dispose of waste material.
Burning of waste in this manner is illegal and can result in damage to property, or pose a serious risk to people’s safety or health.
