Gardaí in Clare are appealing for witnesses following a number of criminal damage incidents on Halloween night.
Shortly after 9 o’clock o Saturday night, pallets were set on fire on the road in Shallee Drive in Ennis, while later that night, at 11.30pm, two domestic refuse bins were set on fire at Considine Road.
Clare’s County Fire Service was notified and units from Ennis brought both fires under control.

Gardaí are urging anyone with information on the incident to contact Ennis Garda Station on 68 48 100.
Another incident of criminal damage by fire occurred in Kilkee in the early hours of Sunday morning – two wheelie bins were stolen from outside a takeaway on Strandline and the owner later found them burnt out on the beach in Kilkee.
