Quin campaigner John Wall is meeting with the Health Minister Stephen Donnelly today as part of his efforts to secure guaranteed medical cards for people who are terminally ill.
John, who himself is terminally ill with cancer, is looking to improve the current situation which means that only those who have been told they’ve less than a year to live qualify for an ‘end of life’ medical card.
Those who do manage to qualify are subject to a review every six months, as well as a means test.

He says the Government is moving too slow on the matter.
