Over 100 more people in Clare have been forced to avail of the Pandemic Unemployment Payment in the past week.
7,362 people in this county received the payment yesterday.
PUP claims in Clare have increased by more than 75% in just over a month, with over 1,800 of these people having lost their jobs since level five restrictions came into effect three weeks ago.

51 people, meanwhile, have closed their PUP claims here this week.
Separately, 65 more people have been medically certified for the Enhanced Illness Benefit payment here over the past week, which means they have either been diagnosed with the virus or have had to self-isolate.
