At a meeting of Clare County Council on Monday, a motion which was unanimously backed by councillors, called for the government to look at the possibility of easing some of the current restrictions under a weekly review due to the drop in cases. The hope would be that some additional sectors may be able to reopen to trade, giving more small businesses hope into the future.
On Wednesday’s Morning Focus, Gavin Grace spoke to Fine Gael Councillor John Crowe and Independent Councillor Michael Begley about the call.
