Clare’s Scoring Workload Being Spread Across The Forward Line – Ralph

One of Clare’s Senior Hurling Selectors says he’s pleased the side’s forward line continues to spread the workload on the scoreboard.

The Banner are tooling up to take on Davy Fitzgerald’s Wexford this weekend in the All-Ireland Qualifiers with the winner set to face either Munster or Leinster’s losing finalists.

In Clare’s last two outings Ballyea’s Tony Kelly has scored 30 points between the defeat to Limerick and last weekend’s victory over Laois.

However, nine different Clare players hit the scoresheet last Saturday, compared to just four against Limerick.

Ken Ralph says he’s happy that other players are finding their feet on the scoreboard ahead of tomorrow’s meeting with Wexford.

Captain David McInerney will be missing from tomorrow’s game.

The Tulla man has been unsuccessful in his appeal to turn over the red card he was given in last weekend’s victory over Laois.

1997 All-Ireland winner with Clare Niall Gilligan says McInerney will be a massive loss to Clare’s midfield tomorrow.

Throw-in for that match at MW Hire O’Moore Park in Portlaoise is on Saturday at 2pm and we’ll have live coverage here on Clare FM with Matt Water’s Fruit and Veg Market, Turnpike Road, and Geraghty’s Spar and Off-License, Turnpike, Ennis.
