Clare Haven’s Manager of Services says victims of domestic abuse here who live in rural areas may be disproportionately impacted by violence in the home.
A new report from Safe Ireland says nearly 3,500 women across the country sought help for the first time between March and August this year.
There have been growing calls for government to clarify how it intends to provide funding to domestic abuse services.
