A West Clare student has been named as one of the winners of a prestigious academic scholarship award.
The Naughton Foundation aims to support academic and innovative excellence in Irish students, awarding a 20,000 euro scholarship to one student in each county, every year.
Clare’s winner for 2020 is Anna Marie Meaney, a former pupil of St Michael’s Community College, Kilmihil, now studying Biomedical Science in NUI Galway.
